NBC NO. 1 ON MONDAY WITH THE VOICE AND THE BLACKLIST

Ratings were down a tad for NBC’s The Voice and the network’s new series The Blacklist, but they still managed to attract nearly twice as many viewers as almost every other broadcast show during primetime Monday night. A two-hour edition of The Voice averaged 14.15 million viewers, while The Blacklist held on to 12.08 million of them. CBS’s comedy lineup between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. placed second during those hours with an average of 7.4 million viewers, rising at 10:00 p.m. to 10.9 million for Castle. But the series debut of We Are Men drew disappointing ratings, winding up with only 6.4 million viewers. Of course, all of those numbers are likely to look weak when compared with those for ESPN’s Monday Night Football, which are due to be released later today (Tuesday).
