In Week 2 of the new season of AMC’s The Walking Dead, the series drew 13.9 million viewers. That was down 14 percent from the record 16.1 million who watched last week’s season premiere. Still, the figure was better than anything else on television — broadcast or cable — Sunday night with the exception of NBC’s Sunday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts, which drew 24.27 million viewers, which, according to TVbytheNumbers.com, was the biggest audience for an NFL game in October in 15 years.
