KILLING KENNEDY DRAWS RECORD RATINGS FOR NGC

November 12, 2013 by · Leave a Comment

Killing Kennedy, based on Bill O’Reilly’s bestseller, drew record ratings for the National Geographic Channel on Sunday as it averaged 3.4 million viewers, slightly better than last year’s Killing Lincoln. The channel indicated that the margin of improvement was only 3,000 viewers, a figure that would be statistically insignificant. For all intents and purposes, the two dramas tied. The channel, along with producer Ridley Scott, have said that they are already working on an adaptation of O’Reilly’s recently published Killing Jesus, with production scheduled to start early next year. Today’s (Tuesday) New York Post noted that “#killingkennedy” was the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter during the telecast.
