HARVEY WEINSTEIN AND MERYL STREEP TO TAKE ON THE NRA

Harvey Weinstein says he is planning to make a movie starring Meryl Streep that will target the National Rifle Association. Appearing on Howard Stern’s radio show on Wednesday, Weinstein remarked that if something like the rise of Hitler and the threat of another Holocaust were to come about, “I’d find a gun if that was happening to my people.” On the other hand he said, “I don’t think we need guns in this country.” He then told Stern, “I’m gonna make a movie with Meryl Streep and we’re gonna take this issue head-on, and they’re gonna wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them.” No response as yet from the NRA.
