CBS TO MOVE BIG BANG THEORY “TO SOME OTHER NIGHT”

CBS chief Les Moonves confirmed on Wednesday that The Big Bang Theory, the network’s top-rated comedy series, will not go on hiatus when the network begins airing eight weeks of Thursday Night Football starting next fall. Instead, Moonves said during a conference call, the network plans to move the show “to some other night” — presumably to a night where it can help boost audiences for weakly performing shows. What will happen to CBS’s other Thursday-night sitcoms was not immediately clear.
