CBS once again dominated the Nielsen ratings last week, placing first among total adult viewers with an average of 9.09 million per program and first among the key 18-49 age group with an average rating of 2.1. ABC was a distant second with 6.24 million total viewers and a 1.5 rating, followed by NBC with 5.92 million viewers and a 1.5 rating. Fox trailed with 4.13 million and a 1.3 rating. CBS’s NCIS and its companion drama NCIS: Los Angeles grabbed the top two positions on the Nielsen list of household ratings with 17.5 million viewers and 15.5 million respectively. (Note: If AMC’s The Walking Dead had aired on broadcast TV instead of cable, it would have placed second with 15.7 million viewers.) ABC’s Dancing with the Star placed third with 14.68 million viewers, edging out CBS’s 60 Minutes with 14.30 million. The Monday installment of NBC’s The Voice rounded out the top five with 12.85 million viewers.
