IS THERE A PLAN B FOR AEREO AFTER ALL?

Although Aereo backer Barry Diller and CEO Chet Kanojia had both insisted that there was "No plan B" if the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against them ("If the court says you can’t do it, it’s over" Diller said in March, then repeated on Saturday, "It’s over."), Kanojia himself suggested over the weekend that the service was only "on pause" and today wrote that Congress could put it back in operation. In an email to former Aereo users, Kanojia called upon them "to raise your hands and make your voices heard." He urged them to their their Congressmen "how disappointed you are that the nation’s highest court issued a decision that could deny you the right to use the antenna of your choice to access live over-the-air broadcast television. Tell them your stories of why having access to a cloud-based antenna is important to you and your families."
