JEFF BERG TO SHUTTER RESOLUTION AGENCY

Former ICM chief Jeff Berg is shutting down the literary and talent agency he opened less than two years ago, the Los Angeles Times reported today (Tuesday), citing a person close to the company. Berg opened the Resolution agency in January of last year but reportedly found the changing landscape rough going, given Hollywood’s reduced output of blockbuster movies that employ talent with multi-million-dollar contracts, thereby providing big commissions for the agencies. According to the Times‘s source, Berg notified his 50-person staff on Monday morning of his plans to fold Resolution, assuring them that he would try to help them find jobs elsewhere.
